Dr. Joemar Taganna, CEO of Paytaca Inc., envisioned the inevitability of cryptocurrency transactions in the modern economy.

Joseph Carlo Japson, CEO of Omoda & Jaecoo Cebu, said this collaboration is poised to transform the EV market and pave the way for a more environmentally conscious and technologically advanced future.

According to him, the electric vehicle market is still in its infancy, and this partnership is just the start of something big for the Philippines.

The memorandum of agreement (MOA) signing ceremony was also attended by Omoda & Jaecoo Cebu’s Chief Marketing Officer Jonathan Joey Japzon, Miss Cebu 2025 Christine Escanilla, and Paytaca Brand Ambassadress Demi Mari Daga, HiveRooms Founder and CEO Herbert Dionzon, Paytaca Brand Evangelists Cladge and Mitch, independent movie maker Gianfranco Morciano, and other visitors.

Meanwhile, Aaron JP Almadro, Paytaca’s chief marketing officer, lauded the agreement as a momentous occasion, noting that Omoda & Jaecoo has become the world’s first car brand to accept Bitcoin Cash (BCH) as payment.

Dubbed as the Philippines’ first Bitcoin Cash (BCH) wallet and payment solution, Paytaca has established a strong merchant network across the country and internationally, with presence in Hong Kong, Australia, Taiwan, and several European and African nations.
