MFPI Celebrates Osprey’s 50th Anniversary with Special Discounts and Sponsorships for Members

MANILA, Philippines — The Mountaineering Federation of the Philippines, Inc. (MFPI), represented by President Juber Lugas Sr. (online), Board of Trustees – Mindanao Michael “PanPan” Jabinez, MFPI Luzon Vice President Erwin “Wino” Nava, and Education Committee Chairman Jong Narciso, joined forces with Uniglobe Travelware Co. Inc. (UTCI), the exclusive distributor of Osprey packs in the Philippines, to celebrate Osprey’s 50th anniversary on June 21, 2024.

During the celebration, MFPI and UTCI signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to formalize their collaborative initiatives. This MOA outlines joint projects aimed at preserving natural spaces and co-branding educational programs and workshops to promote sustainable outdoor practices and safety.

As part of the collaboration, Osprey is offering MFPI members a 10% discount on regular-priced Osprey packs. This offer is valid from July to September 2024 and January to March 2025 for cash or card transactions. Members can avail of this discount once during the specified periods at R.O.X., TTC, BP, and Grinds stores by presenting their 2024 MFPI Membership ID.

Additionally, Osprey will sponsor six upcoming National and Major Events organized by MFPI, further strengthening the partnership between the two organizations. (Press Release, Photos courtesy of MFPI)
