The EVRSHS, located in Barangay 7, Catbalogan City, now boasts state-of-the-art facilities aimed at enhancing student learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Gatchalian, a staunch advocate for education reform, emphasized that this development is part of his broader mission to provide students with better opportunities for success.

“We are building the foundation for the future. These four new buildings will not only house classrooms but serve as a hub for innovation and scientific exploration, giving our students the tools they need to excel,” Gatchalian said during the ceremony.

The donation, which funded the construction of four key buildings, includes modern classrooms, laboratories, and other specialized facilities, designed to support STEM education and foster a conducive learning environment for students from across the region.

Governor Sharee Ann Tan, who joined the senator at the event, expressed her gratitude, highlighting the transformative impact of the senator’s contribution.

“This donation is a game-changer for education in Samar. Thanks to Senator Gatchalian, our students will have access to world-class facilities that will prepare them for future challenges,” Tan remarked.
